Let It Go

In life everyone experiences good and bad times. Life is not a smooth road, there are struggles and obstacles, ups and downs. As the holidays are approaching, and the year is coming to an end, I find myself reflecting. While reflecting the point that came to my mind was ‘let it go’. So many times we hold onto disappointments, failures, betrayal, sadness, grief and so much more. What you don’t realize at the time is that you are sabotaging yourself. If the negative moments do not change you as a person, if it does not affect your character and who you are LET IT GO. First off, never give anyone or anything the power to change you or break your spirit and character. You can change you, but no one else. Don’t allow hurt or failures to keep you from moving forward…don’t stay stagnant. The way to move on from the past is to keep pushing ahead. If you are stuck at a negative point, keep moving and look ahead because it does get better. If you are focusing on things you can’t change LET IT GO. What has been has already been, what has happened has already happened. In life we can’t change what has already taken place, but we can control what happens next. You deserve a happy life, and most of all peace. In order to gain your peace you have got to let go of whatever is holding you back from your future. When we continue to focus on the past we miss out on the greatness that is to come. If you can’t change it, leave it behind and keep pushing. No matter what mistakes you have made, or who let you down, everyone deserves to be happy and at peace. Take these last weeks of 2015 to reflect, create a plan of action, and let the past go. Enter 2016 with a positive outlook on your future, and a clean slate on life.



Value Yourself

Once you realize your self worth, only then will you know the level of loyalty and respect to require of others. Remember you are special and should be treated as such. Expect nothing less than the best, because that’s what you are worth.


Positive thinking furthers Successful Possibilities

Good Afternoon….I wanted to post something inspiring today. I wanted to emphasize the importance of positive thinking. Many times we look at situations in our lives and we focus on the negatives-the what could have been, or what may be in the future. What we don’t realize is that we are wasting so much time and energy focusing on the negative, that we are missing the positive occurring at that moment. It is true that our minds can play tricks on us. If we wake up and think we are going to have a day, and we speak that out of our mouth, then we will indeed have a bad day. The idea is to speak positivity into our lives. When it seems like everything around us is falling apart, recognize the beauty in the things that are going right in our lives. It is hard to do sometimes, trust me I know, but it so important that we keep our focus.  When you put aside all the negative thinking, you begin to see a world of possibilities. As you begin to stay and focus on the positive, you will start to see greatness in your future and your current situation.  You will also feel less stressed and overwhelmed when you keep positivity in your life-this includes the people around you. Nobody wants to have a negative Nelly hanging around them. Surround yourself with people who inspire and motivate you. People who can push you further, when you’ve lost faith in yourself. And it may not be a group of people, it may just be one. But one positive person, is better than a group of negative individuals. So today find something beautiful and positive to dwell on and I promise you, you will have a successful and fulfilling day. 🙂

30 year Bucket List…

So the other day a friend and I were talking about all the things we wish we had done over the last few years. We are both on the verge of turning 30 and we decided to write down a list of things we wanted to do, or goals we wanted to accomplish before 30 or 31 years old. This is a great idea if you’ve come to a crossroads where you feel you may not be as successful or as experienced as you thought you’d be. Try it…make a list of anything you have ever wanted to do. It can be something simple like try a new recipe or read a book you’ve had for awhile. It can also be major goals or achievements such as create a business plan. Whatever you find your desire to be just write it down…physically put it down where you can see it and visualize your plans. This way from a visualization it can become a reality. Be positive and speak these things into existence. If it is something that you really want to accomplish you can and will make it happen. Happy Monday all and I’ll post again tomorrow 🙂
